Come and learn how to gather and weave your own climbing plant support. These lovely tall obelisk plant supports add structure to your garden in a very natural and sustainable way. On this workshop you will use the tutor's own locally grown willow and also look at what other natural material could be gathered and used. You will learn how to prepare your materials at different times of year and how to weave, step by step, a lovely strong obelisk to take home. You will take home all these new skills plus full written instructions so you can make more next spring!

The half day workshop takes place outdoors in the wonderful setting of The Italian Garden and includes time for a short tour. This is a small group workshop (6 places only) to ensure plenty of individual attention from the tutor.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some weaving experience. Participants do need to be reasonably physically fit as this is a fairly strenuous and active workshop!
