Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund we are delighted to be able to offer free stonemasonry training sessions. We are looking to supplement our team with volunteers keen to learn these heritage skills and help restore our paths. Devon Rural Skills Trust instructor Martin Stallard is overseeing the restoration of the limestone paths, terraces, steps and walls at The Italian Garden and will teach volunteers key skills, with volunteers then able to work on restoring paths themselves.

Steel toe capped boots, gloves and waterproof outdoor clothing are required, both for safety and comfort.
